Maximising oil and gas recovery in Oman
The Oman Oil and Gas Congress will highlight the latest technologies and key solutions to the unique challenges involved with primary, secondary and tertiary recovery in Oman’s oil and gas industry.

With steadily depleting oil and gas reserves across the region, it is vital for Oman’s oil and gas industry to maximise recovery rates from existing reservoirs. When primary and secondary recovery methods are exhausted, the latest tertiary recovery methods provide additional solutions when tapping into remaining oil supplies.

Oman Economic Forum in its two previous editions focused on the long term vision of the sultanate that have kept it immune from regional and international bumps. This event in 2008 and 2010 brought forth development policies on all fronts as well as diversification plans geared to lessen dependency on oil exports which ultimately attracted the interest and participation of high level personalities.
